New Cryptopsy on it's way; Once Was Not

Soo, Cryptopsy have a new CD coming out entitled "Once Was Not" to be released on Century Media in October..Lord Worm is back in Cryptopsy as "Once Was Not" is thier first studio release in five years. Expect an exellent tour from Cryptopsy with Suffocation, ect. in the fall. .

Also, speaking of tech/death/ grind, Germany's Necrophagist are comfirmed for the Maryland Death Fest '06 and expect a North American tour around the spring of '06. Also, Cryptopsy's touring mates ABORTED have been officially signed to Century Media. Expect great things from ABORTED in the future.

FROM Blabbermouth.net. CRYPTOPSY: Release Date Set For 'Once Was Not' - Aug. 9, 2005 Century Media Records has set an October 18 release date for the fifth album from Canadian death metallers CRYPTOPSY, entitled "Once Was Not".

The new CD, featuring the long-anticipated return of vocalist Lord Worm, was recorded at Studio Vortex in St-Constant, Canada by producer Sebastien Marsan, and again infuses extreme music with awe-inspiring precision, rabidly dynamic rhythms, and mouth-foaming viciousness. The album was mastered by UE Nastasi at Sterling Sound in New York City and features artwork by François Quévillon, Filip Ivanovic and Martin Lacroix. With eleven tracks totaling about 50 minutes, "this is a concept album where every song has its own identity. We made sure to have a lot of flavors and different rhythms and tempos throughout the whole process, the variations in the tracks may surprise some of you," the band write on their web site.

CRYPTOPSY will be steamrolling across North America with SUFFOCATION and ABORTED from late September to November.
