METAL AT THE MOVIES/RPG's (PART 5): Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth RPG (SCORE: Greg Chandler)

(Role Playing Games-X-BOX, WINDOWS MEDIA). I sort of grew out of video and role playing games. However for many, RPG's are a HOBBY. If you've checked out the RPG "Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth" the music for the RPG is scored by none other than Greg Chandler of the British funeral doom project ESOTERIC.
There is a remixed version of "Beneath this Face" (from ESOTERIC's latest release "The Maniacal Vale") on the soundtrack of "Dark Corners" RPG.

FROM A FAN POST ON DOOMMETAL.COM. (DOOM FORUM):
I looked more into this and.... no, this must be something more than a coincidence. Was somebody of you working on the soundtrack and reuse it or is this a direct tribute to it? Don't have the booklet at hand to check for any liner notes.

Check out the Dark Corners of the Earth -trailer here and pay notice to the music:

Now, play the Esoteric tune starting from the 10 minute mark and compare these two. I made it even easier for you, download this mp3:

At first you'll hear the DCotE soundtrack, then Esoteric, then both mixed on top of each other. Played in the exact same tempo, key and structure.

EDIT 2:

Ahah! Never mind, just dug out my copy of the game and looked through the credits! Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, music by Greg Chandler, damn good soundtrack I might add. This explains alot then. It was just strange to hear the familiar music again after two years since the game was released.
ITP: "Beneath This Face" is an AWESOME song from funeral doom legends ESOTERIC. "Dark Corners" is a great RPG and great soundtrack.
Do check out British funeral doom legends ESOTERIC's latest release the "Maniacal Vale" out now on Season Of Mist.
