AUGURY POST NEW TRACK, SPEAK ABOUT UPCOMING TOUR

Montreal Canada's progressive/death/black metal wizards AUGURY released a new track to MYSPACE and talk about their up and coming fall U.S. tour with GOD DETHRONED. FROM AUGURY MYSPACE:

Creators of an extreme metal that includes death, black, and progressive tinges, Montreal's juggernauts AUGURY will release their album, Fragmentary Evidence, on July 17, 2009 (Europe) and on August 11, 2009 (North America).

AUGURY states: "We are proud to announce our official album release party for Fragmentary Evidence on August 15th 2009 at Montreal's Club Soda. All metalheads are welcome to this long awaited event.

To give you another taste of our new album, we have added another song on our MySpace Page. A rediscovery for some, we opted for the track "Faith Puppeteers," a longtime mainstay in our live performances, featuring vocals from Youri Raymond (Unhuman, Cryptopsy). For the happy people in Montreal, there will be a listening party at Cafe Chaos on July 16th!

Also, due to the amount of questions and requests, AUGURY members will make themselves available for musical clinics and private lessons during the upcoming tours. Suffice to reserve your spot by e-mail (info@augurymetal.com) in advance and a schedule will be established to accomodate anyone willing to learn a few of our secrets...we'll keep you posted!!!"

The band will launch their maiden tour of the U.S. in support of God
Dethroned on September 30th and will return to the States again with
label mates VADER in November’s "Decibel Presents: Monsters Of Death Tour."

Dominic Forest, AUGURY bassist, checks in from Montreal and shares the following about the upcoming VADER trek: "We are really proud and thrilled to tour with a cult band such as VADER and are really eager to join our friends Decrepit Birth on the road. We will do video blogs while touring, so keep in touch with us on our MySpace page!!!”

Fragmentary Evidence was produced by Hugues Deslauriers (Clearwater Deathblow), Yannick St-Amand (Despised Icon), and AUGURY. Mixing duties were handled by KATAKLYSM guitarist Jean-Francois Dagenais (Malevolent Creation, Misery Index, Despised Icon). James Murphy (Death, Obituary, Disincarnate) provided the mastering. Album artwork is courtesy of Sven de Caluwe (Aborted).

Confirmed dates for AUGURY’s tour with VADER, DECREPIT BIRTH, Warbringer, The Amenta, and S.W.W.A.A.T.S. can bew viewed on the bands MySpace Page.
