OZZY OSBOURNE and THINK CURE:

EDITORS NOTE: Here's your motivation: SCREAM loud enough that Ronnie James Dio can hear you from heaven. SCREAM loud enough to wake up Chi (DEFTONES) and COVAN (DECAPITATED) from semi comatose states. SCREAM loud enough that DIMEBAG DARREL will hear ya from metal heaven and shred harmonic solos in return.
SCREAM loud enough that Chuck Schuldiner will hear ya and Peter Steele will hear ya as it shall rain toilet paper.
SCREAM FOR A CURE FOR CANCER.
FROM BLABBERMOUTH.NET:
Ozzy Osbourne made an appearance at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Friday night (June 11) to lead the crowd in what was being billed as "the longest and loudest scream ever" during the fifth inning break in that evening's game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The event was part of the third annual ThinkCure! Weekend at the stadium. ThinkCure! is a community-based non-profit that accelerates collaborative research to cure cancers.

Ozzy was joined for the scream by Stuart Claxton of Guinness World Records, who was on hand to determine whether the scream's length and volume sets a new world record.

Ozzy told The Pulse of Radio that his wife/manager Sharon's bout with colon cancer several years ago was unexpected and frightening. "It's always someone else," he said. "You never really think it's gonna happen to you. It's like, across the road or down the street or something. To be honest with you, the first month when (inaudible), I was like, I'd never known anyone that had been diagnosed with that that had recovered. But then I went to my doctor one day and he said to me, 'I had colon cancer 10 years ago and I got over it, you know.' He was the first guy that ever gave me hope."

Fans can also make a donation to ThinkCure! online, via phone or through texting. An online auction last year raised $50,000.

Sharon Osbourne lent her support to ThinkCure! by recording a promotional message that will air during the game and online, according to a press release.

Ozzy's new album, appropriately titled "Scream", comes out June 22 and features the single "Let Me Hear You Scream".
