IRON MAIDEN WINS U.S. GRAMMY: BEST METAL PERFORMANCE FOR "El Dorado-The Final Frontier"

Iron Maiden's "El Dorado" won a U.S. GRAMMY last night in the category of best metal performance as the track is featured on the bands latest release "The Final Frontier". IRON MAIDEN beat out Korn "Let The Guilt Go" from Korn III: Remember Who You Are, Lamb Of God "In Your Words" from Wrath and SLAYER, title track of "World Painted Blood" for the 53rd annual Grammy award. The METAL and HARD ROCK as with many other GRAMMY MUSIC categories was NOT televised last night.

Last night Iron Maiden were awarded a Grammy for Best Metal Performance for the song El Dorado from the new album The Final Frontier.
