ITP UNCOVERED V.011: PART 2: AMON AMARTH: "Twilight of the Thunder God"

Here we are with ITP V.011 UNCOVERED PART 2 as in this edition ITP is featuring a PIANO cover of Swedish Viking death metal warriors AMON AMARTH's "Twilight of the Thunder God" (title track from the 2008 release "Twilight of the Thunder God" ) from YOU TUBE USER pianist OBELIX5150. An arrangement of Twilight of the Thunder God, which is possibly the most beautiful metal song ever (or second, to Embrace of the Endless Ocean). Learned it 100% by ear, so no sheet music, sorry (unless like a hundred people ask me for it).

Eh. This is pretty much just a first take doodling of the tune. Might have helped if I had actually LEARNED the solo before playing it. Lmao. But I think it sounds good enuff. Listen and see for yourself. Just keep that in mind before you bash my solo for not being identical to the original (or ALUxoxos, whose by the way is amazing, check it out asap if you haven't already).

About me: I'm a 15 year old dude who plays piano, guitar, drums, bass, tenor sax, french horn, and mandolin. Been playing piano for 7 years, the others for a few years. I mainly do classic rock (a la Zeppelin and Thin Lizzy) and melodic metal (symphonic, melodeath, black, gothic, viking/folk) but I also dig playin jazz fusion, classical (particularly 19th and 20th century) and doodlin modal jazz from time to time. I don't do anything professionally, but its my dream to do so one day.
