METAL AT THE MOVIES PART 8: Story Of U.K. Thrash Metal Scenes Focus Of 'A History OF A Time To Come' Documentary

We're baaack with METAL AT THE MOVIES PART 8 for the new documentary film "A History of a Time To Come".
FROM BLABBERMOUTH.NET:
The film covers the complete story of the U.K. thrash metal scene — its ups, its downs and its impact on the U.K. and global music industry.

Until now there has been no complete documentation of the movement, with bands disappearing amongst the dark recesses of the Internet, shelved magazines or out-of-print CDs.

The project plans to pull together and uncover the full story of the U.K. thrash scene, from its roots in the mid-'80s until the present day, telling the story of dreams fulfilled, hopes dashed and the enduring memories.

Along the way the filmmakers will be speaking to the bands that are and were a part of the scene, the labels behind the bands, the press reporting on the scene and everyone else who had an impact, from producers to authors.

As huge fans of the genre, and filmmakers by day, the people behind the movie are creating not only an accurate document of the music and its people, but an engaging and interesting film for both fans and newcomers to the genre.

This is a film for the fans by the fans, so the filmmakers are happy to talk to anyone who has a story or interest in the scene, in order to create a film as energetic and enthralling as the genre itself.

In the coming weeks and months, the filmmakers will be announcing bands and people involved as and when we shoot interviews.

The following bands are involved in the project so far:

EVILE
XENTRIX
LAWNMOWER DETH
TORANAGA
D.A.M
MUTANT
PITIFUL REIGN

The second trailer, which will include interview footage will be launched along with the full web site on Monday, April 18.
