KATATONIA Comment On Upcoming OPETH Tour; To Announce Canadian Headline Dates

Swedish atmospheric metal legends KATATONIA have commented on the bands anticipated fall 2011 North American tour with OPETH as new U.S. dates have been added.

Katatonia are confirmed as special guests on Opeth's North American 'Heritage' tour that runs from September till November. Katatonia last toured together with Opeth in Europe, 2001, supporting their 'Blackwater Park' tour. Now 10 years later down the road, the time has come to do it again! But that's not all, Katatonia will also head out on a Canadian headliner tour one week before the 'Heritage' tour starts. This trek will cover both familiar and unvisited territories. Furthermore, we will also add a bunch of headlining sideshows in the US throughout the tour, so keep checking back in for more details on those. Ticket links to the shows will be posted on Friday.
