ONLY ONE PER COFFIN: CIPHER DRUMMER DAINEL BOBIS FOUND



The body of Daniel Bobis, drummer of Long Beach, California hardcore band CIPHER has been found, as the leash on Bobis's surf board broke, sending him drowning in waves.

FROM BLABBERMOUTH.NET: According to New York Daily News, fisherman in Indonesia on Thursday discovered the body of Daniel Bobis, drummer for the Long Beach, New York hardcore/metal/punk band CIPHER (Facebook page), who went missing Sunday morning after wiping out on a wave.

Search crews in West Lampung, Sumatra, said the fishermen pulled the body of Bobis from waters about 20 miles from the remote break he was surfing when he went missing. According to information his wife posted on Facebook on Sunday, the leash on his board broke as he surfed in an area known for its 12-foot waves.
In a statement on Facebook, Bobis' good friend and fellow Long Islandsurfer Sean Persall confirmed the news, "Daniel Bobis has passed away. No further details have been provided, nor are necessary at this time. We are all deeply saddened by the loss of this amazing husband, teacher, surfer and friend to so many."
