MORTA SKULD: DRUMMER JEF JAEGER SUFFERS SUBARACHNOID HEMORRHAGE


Wisconsin based death metal warriors and RELAPSE RECORDING artists MORTA SKULD have sadly announced that the bands drummer Jeff Jaeger has suffered a SUBARACHNOID HEMORRHAGE (Cerebral Aneurysm).
Relapse Records issued a collection of early MORTA SKULD recordings on July 5, 2011 Entitled "Through The Eyes Of Death: The Early Demos", it combines the band's two 1990 demos, "Gory Departure" and "Prolong The Agony", on one disc. Both demos were remastered for the collection by Chris Wisco at Belle City Sound.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin's MORTA SKULD formed in 1990 and released its first demo tape, "Gory Departure", shortly thereafter. The band's second three-song demo, "Prolong The Agony", featured VIOGRESSION drummer Jef Jaeger.


FROM MORTA SKULD: Hello Morta fans, I have an update for you. My drummer Jef Jaeger has suffered a Subarachnoid hemorrage to his brain. He is doing well and please visit his page and wish him well. Jef and I are working to reform the band to support are album of demo's from 89. So wish him well and or say a prayer for his quick recovery. Cheers.
