GOREGROWLERS BALL 2011: Lair of the Minotaur, Malignancy Gorematory, The Meatfuckers, Gravehill and Face of Ruin DROP OFF FEST

Promoters for the 2011 GOREGROWLERS BALL set to take place 11/18-20, 2011 @ THE KOROVA, San Antonio, Texas have sadly announced that Lair of the Minotaur, Malignancy Gorematory, The Meatfuckers, Gravehill and Face of Ruin have all dropped off the festival.
FROM GOREGROWLERS BALL PROMOTERS: There has been a lot of activity going on over here at the GGB camp, and we have been working on this public statement to give you all the news at once.First of, we’ll start off with the bad news… Due to unforseen circumstances a few bands were forced to be not be a part of the festivities. GGB5 is losing Lair of the Minotaur, Malignancy Gorematory, The Meatfuckers. Gravehill and Face of Ruin. We are very sad about losing these bands, but we will one day try to bring these bands to Texas again in the future. Now for the good news, the replacements… We are happy to announce that we are adding old school grind masters, PHOBIA, who will be direct support for Suffocation on Sunday, Nov 20th. Touring the US right now is the Israeli black metal band, and even though they are making one stop in San Antonio on November 5th, they will be making another trip back on Friday, November 18th. We are also happy to announce that TXDM veterans, GROTESQUE FORMATION has been added back onto the ball. Another TXDM band added to the fest is INGURGITATE, who will be making their 2nd live appearance with a full lineup, which includes Ingurgitate’s creator, Chris Hutto, vocalist, Michael Swearingen (ex-Infernal Dominion, ex-Braced for Nails), and drummer Dobber Beverly (ex-Insect Warfare, ex-Infernal Dominion, ex-Braced for Nails, and more). Finishing up the newest additions the fest is everyone’s favorite thrash metal band from Austin, TX known as BIRTH A.D. We are happy to have all these new bands on board.A new schedule will be posted very soon which will include time slots for each day. You will see some changes which includes Internal Bleeding moving from Sunday to Saturday, Putrid Pile being moved from Friday to Saturday, and Noisear moving from Friday to Sunday. Also after all these changes, we have decided to keep the prices of the tickets rather fair. Right now you are still able to purchase presale tickets online for $60, which is a SALE price for the 3day passes. After 10/31/11, the only tickets that will be available will be at the door, day of the show, and we are going to be charging $25 at the door. We hope that these competitive prices encourage more people to come out to the show, either one day, two days, or all three days.We are working on a deal for those of you who purchased presale tickets at the higher prices we once had. The next update will include those details. We are getting near the date, and we thank you all for your suppor,t and we really do hope to see all of you at the festival this year, so we can make next year’s festival even bigger! Cheers
