FROM METALCAMP 2012 PROMOTERS:

KORN confirmed!

Attention to all metalcamper: This announcement forces you down on your knees, giving thousand thanks to the god of metal! In this year’s edition, none less than the US rockers Jonathan Davis, James Shaffer, Reginald Vrvizu and Ray Luzier – famous and popular under the brand of KORN – will headline your headbanger’s holidays. The legendary rock-superiority, which counts to the “inventors” and leaders of the so-called “nu metal”-genre, made an impressive career with bombastic, innovative sound-blockbusters and with a sensational discography burned into the history-books of music. So KORN is one of the most tremendous bands of our time, which still exactly knows how to enchain their listeners. Emotional, aggressive and experimental are only a few great characteristics of this monumental US-combo. This popular heavy-quartet mixes up massive metal with hip-hop grooves, dashing US-rock and atmospheric industrial/electronic-components, creating a first-class acoustic-experience. Now the godfathers of classical nu metal join METALCAMP to rock together with all of you and to enjoy the pure holiday-feeling there.

STEELWING confirmed

Are you ready for the next roadkill? Unpack your spikes, leather and denim-jacket for this upcoming assault happening at METALCAMP 2012. The young full-blood-heavy-metallers of STEELWING will kick your dirtbag-asses live on stage. Recently these old-school-junkies released a new monument full of true-metal-hits titled “Zone Of Alienation”, raping your sense of hearing! So its time for STEELWING to catch your metal-souls and present their brandnew material with damned big balls live on stage. In the past the band already show us, that they got the true metal spirit by mother’s milk. Loud, melodic guitars, storming drums and a voice, that awakes pure feelings of nostalgia, make STEELWING to a kind of modern Iron Maiden with a very special, individual flavour.

MILKING THE GOATMACHINE confirmed

Did you ever mosh with an alien-goat till the veterinary is coming? The crazy horde of MILKING THE GOATMACHINE gives you the chance for experiencing it at METALCAMP 2012. As wolves in a goatskin, these maniacs from planet GoatEborg produce GoatCore non-stop and invite you to an insane roller coaster-trip through the fields of death, grind and core. Songs like „Surf Goataragua“, „Sour Milk Boogie“ or „Milk Me Up Before I Go Go“ are humorous tunes, which do not only move the horned god himself to tears. MILKING THE GOATMACHINE provide a milky sound-theatre to you. Crazy, but simply ingenious and with their new album “Clockwork Udder” it´s gonna be goatastic at Metalcamp!

SEPTICFLESH confirmed

With their high-class technical death-metal-compositions, SEPTICFLESH expose their philosophical point of view, which challenge the existence of mankind in all its facets. Luckily the horde hailing from Athens does never challenge their own, high quality music, which convinces all along the line. Complex death-metal-structures, poignant gothic-metal-elements and symphonic experimental-insets played on the highest level count to the grandiose specialities of this fanatic sextet, who made themselves a name within the scene due to their last masterpiece “The Great Mass”. At your upcoming headbanger’s holidays, SEPTICFLESH invite to an unforgettable musical horror-trip to get you caught in the ban of darkness.
