YESTERDAY 2/10/2012 WOULD HAVE BEEN CLIFF BURTON's (METALLICA) BIRTHDAY

Yesterday, 2/10/2012 would have been the late METALLICA bass player Cliff Burton's birthday. CLIFF BURTON passed away in a tour bus accident September 27, 1986 (aged 24) Ljungby Municipality, Sweden. CLIFF BURTON was considered one of, if not the most talented metal bassists of his generation. Often playing bass, with effects like a guitar, CLIFF BURTON was often featured in bass solos for both METALLICA studio efforts and live shows. CLIFF BURTON's no frills attitude, and leadership propelled and inspired METALLICA and their fans in the bands early years. Forever will metal fans be in debt to CLIFF BURTON's influence.
