BLEECKER BOBS, NYC, NEW YORK: RELOCATING?

Legendary NYC, New York (West Village, Manhattan) record store BLEECKER BOB's has been rumored to be closed as high rents are forcing the legendary record store to relocate.

FROM BLEECKER BOBS:
some better news....
a new space or 2 to check out on LES/East Village and we've been talking to people about a benefit for Bleecker Bobs possibly late April. thinking sometime between April 26-30 or so.

please email us here or at bleeckerbobs@yahoo.com if you'd like to help out with the benefit or if you see any available storefronts.
your continued support is greatly appreciated.
thanks so very much everyone.

FROM UNNAMED SOURCE:
Bleecker Bob's is closed cause they couldn't afford the $17,000 rent. Now that's ALOT of Vinyl to sell in one month! Good News is they are trying to relocate to the East Village.
