Swedish atmospheric doom metal warriors KATATONIA have sent this statement as guitarist ANDERS NYSTROM is sick and won't be able to play the bands previously scheduled RUSSIAN dates. KATATONIA are due to unleash a new offering and a full North American tour in the fall.

FROM JONAS RENSKE:
Got stuck in Munich on our way to Russia. Tomorrow will be a weird day for sure, gigging as a four piece. But it's only rock 'n' roll, and it's fun.

FROM KATATONIA:
We are currently on our way to Russia, but we have some bad news. Unfortunately Anders is very sick and unable to travel with us, so we send our regards and wish him a speedy recovery. The show must go on and we didn't want our fans to miss out so we have decided to carry on and play the concerts without him. We look forward to seeing you all over the next couple of days.
