LAMB OF GOD: To Film Documentary On The Gaza Strip

Virginia, USA thrash/core warriors LAMB OF GOD are set to film a fan to band documentary on the how music inspired metal fans, specifically in the volatile Gaza Strip (Israel).

As part their 2012 world tour, Richmond, Virginia metal monsters Lamb Of God, who after seven albums and nearly twenty years in the business are still without doubt one of the biggest and best  metal bands on the planet, have decided to thank their loyal and avid followers by filming a fan-to-band documentary, which features inspiring stories from fans from around the world.

While the band’s plans to make the documentary have been known for some time, only now has it been announced that LOG have chosen one of the most volatile and politically charged places on earth to shoot some of the film – the Gaza Strip.

The band are currently appealing to fans from the region to make their way down and share their story with the metal masses. “…if you live near the Gaza Strip and listen to heavy metal music to escape your stressful life, then we are interested in hearing from you! You don’t have to be Lamb of God’s ‘biggest’ fan, but you should have a very inspiring life,” a message on the Lamb Of God website read.

Fans from all around the world have been invited to send in a  2,000 word or less letter, or a short, three-minute  video with a description of their life and how Lamb Of God’s music helps them to cope with it. One fan will be chosen for each stop on their tour and filmed for the documentary.

LOG’s next stop is in Israel, where they will be searching for both males and females to appear in the documentary  between May 27-31. Those interested in participating reach out to griffinburkecasting@gmail.com.
