California thrash metal warriors MACHINE HEAD have posted a special "DIMEBAG" DARRELL ABBOTT TRIBUTE, culled from the bands set 12/8/2012 ATLANTA, GEORGIA @ THE TABERNACLE.
MACHINE HEAD are currently on a North American tour with DETHKLOK,
BLACK DAHLIA MURDER and ALL THAT REMAINS.

"I'm sure all of you know, or maybe some of you don't know, but today is December 8," MACHINE HEAD frontman Robb Flynn told the crowd. "Eight years ago; this is fucking mind-boggling to even believe, but eight years ago, Dimebag Darrell was killed onstage, man. The legacy that that man left in the world, the footprint that that dude left on the fucking entire metal universe was un-fucking-believable."

He continued: "We called him a brother, man. We were friends. We had so many incredible drunken fucking nights and hungover mornings on those two tours that we did with them. He was an amazing, amazing individual … We’re not here to celebrate his death, we're here to celebrate his life right now, ladies and gentlemen."
