Without a doubt, FIDDLER'S GREEN are the most successful German folk band. The recipe for their success? Take the well-known Irish folk influences and add a few pinches of metal, ska and punk. Not only does this make their music much more appealing to a wider audience, it also makes the music even more danceable then Irish folk already is in itself. Success – their twelfth (!) and last studio album since their formation in 1990 entered the German charts at position 24 – proves them right!
