BRAZILIAN NIGHTCLUB FIRE AT "KISS" (Santa Maria): KILLS 254 VIA STAMPEDE, INJURES 100 MORE

Perhaps one of the worlds worst nightclub fires in over a decade has claimed the life of over 250 people, and
over 100 more injured, Santa Maria, Brazil based nightclub "KISS" ripped a blaze last night (1/26/2013) via a pyrotechnics display gone deadly WRONG, as a deadly stampede for the one and only exit (one other exit door was LOCKED) of the nightclub claimed more lives.

Brazilian rock band Gurizada Fandangueira performed for 900 people in a 2, 000 capacity club, as the band set off pyrotechnics or "Flares", accidently setting the clubs ceiling on fire. "KISS" Club Security tried to help the band (Gurizada Fandangueira ) put out the blaze with a fire extinguisher to no avail.

SAO PAULO's Governor is investigating the "KISS CLUB" fire, and Country/folk band Gurizada Fandangueira could be charged with manslaughter.

ITP V.013 EDITORS NOTE:  Here we go again: THE MEDICAL EXAMINERS OFFICE SAID:
Santa Maria fire chief Guido de Melo said there had been widespread panic after the fire broke out. "The main cause of death was asphyxiation," he said.
"Asphyxiation", (not just in the context of fires and smoke inhalation) is one of the leading causes of death at events (concert, sporting) often due to overcrowding, stampedes ect. Mosh pits cause injuries at worst, rarely deaths. However, deaths at crowd events are mostly "Asphyxiation" (or* RESULT OF DEADLY CROWD SURGES or STAMPEDES: "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compressive_asphyxia" while standing")  related due to crowd surges, stampedes, lack of EXITS and overcrowding. As ITP  stated in the most recent ITP V.012 THE ART OF DANCE: CROWD SURGES by far in a away, the hardest, most emotional, and important journal entry I had written..I must edit that journal entry on what us veteran club/ concert goers already know, please bring ID with you for clubbing and shows, even if you're NOT drinking, and make sure the ID is in your pocket so you can be identified if something awful were to happen to you, or you're alone and not conscious. . Also, bring names of next of kin.

Also, while not as common in the USA, yes, some clubs have running tabs, on credit or debit, as a convenience  to the bartenders as multiple drink buyers pay up once.Perhaps the bar was separate from the stage area.
