GIBSON AMPHITHEATER ( UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA): TO BE DEMOLISHED FOR HARRY POTTER THEME ATTRACTION

UNIVERSAL CITY California's world famous GIBSON AMPHITHEATER is set to close September 2013 for a HARRY POTTER theme park attraction via UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD.
Formally the UNIVERSAL AMPHITHEATER, an outdoor venue opened in 1972, the venue was re-named the GIBSON AMPHITHEATER and was re-built as an enclosed hall in 1982.
LIVE NATION (operator of GIBSON AMPHITHEATER) announced the closure yesterday citing the end of the venues lease and also announced anyone with tickets to shows at said venue after September, hold on to them, shows will be moved to other regional venues.
