ITP V.013 UPDATE: SLAYER TRIBUTE/ REVIEWS THIS WEEK

What can one say about the legendary California thrash act SLAYER that hasn't been said before? Cult, controversial, the sound on the battlefield or the sound of the apocalypse, and an institution in metal. SLAYER are perhaps the band with the honer of thrash and extreme metals ultimate anthem "Raining Blood". SLAYER inspire some of the most rabid fan worship, and I mean, intense and loyal.Requesting SLAYER during other band/artists shows is as popular as screaming out for "Freebird". Of course there's the dude who carved the SLAYER logo into his arm (scarification) as the photo of such is featured inside the SLAYER release "DIVINE INTERVENTION". SLAYER have a cult, riotous, violent, dark, energy, screaming SLAYER out of no where seems righteous, and the fans KNOW. With no further introduction.......SLAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYEEEEEEERRRRR!!!!!! (:breaks shit:)

In the context (and shock) of the bad news of SLAYER guitarist JEFF HANNEMAN's death yesterday (liver failure), ITP V.013 will do what I've what I've wanted to do for YEARS, review my fave SLAYER releases:
"Reign in Blood" and the underrated and sentimental release "God Hates Us All".
GUARANTEED GOOD RATINGS as both releases are quality and a classic.

What does SLAYER mean to you and the extreme metal scene? The first extreme metal band I ever listened to as SLAYER's classic release "Reign In Blood" at only 30 some odd minutes long is really the world wide anthem for metal.
Screaming SLAYER at other peoples shows, hearing the roar of the crowd through out a SLAYER show, and we, as both metal and SLAYERS fans DO NOT want it to end.
I feel comfortable having SLAYER THERE and active without them and there is no replacement for SLAYER, everything else is just mediocre clones or metal core.

JUNE 6th is NATIONAL SLAYER DAY, celebrate. 6/6/2006 was AWESOME. Thank you and R.I.P JEFF HANNEMAN.
