BOGIES,ALBANY, NY: "Green jello was supposed to play last night at Bogies Albany...... well, the band did, without the singer"

Albany, NY venue BOGIES have sent this statement complaining about California comedy/ rockers GREEN JELLO as the band showed up late for their 8/30/2013 show at BOGIES,ALBANY, NY, without the bands vocalist until a few hours later (1AM). GREEN JELLO states they were forced to play without sound equipment, the plug was pulled on the show, and the band was not paid their guarantee via BOGIES,ALBANY, NY.
Many of the shows at BOGIES,ALBANY, NY are promoted by UPSTATE BLACK AND BLUE.

Green jello was supposed to play last night at Bogies Albany...... well, the band did, without the singer. Load in was 5pm. Band says they'll be late - ok, fine. Band breaks down - ok, fine. Band shows up at midnight to play - ok, fine. The band does not have the singer with them and does not know where he is....the band plays without the singer. The singer shows up at 1am. Band is finishing up. Anyone that asked for their money back (a decent amount of people) got it back and understood that this was a poor representation of what was supposed to be a show. This was embarrassing on all sides. I offered to pay the band (a considerable amount less than the guarantee) and everyone seemed to be happy. There was no "puppet show". Nothing like the you tube videos anyway. Mind you that the singer showed up at 1am and never even spoke to me. No apology, no explanation. Now there will be keyboard warriors defending them? Oh well.....

"BOGIES IN ALBANY IS BOGUS" green jellovision...so after days of 2 different teams of puppet making brand new green jello punk rock puppets for the show in Albany we get there and the venue turns off the sound and cancels the entire set...after driving 6 hours in a pouring thunder and lighting storm the band gets a tire blow on the thruway on the way to the show...we contact the venue and tell them that instead of playing at midnight the show will be at 12:30...so to much our surprise when we get there the asshole promoter forced the puppeteers to play with out a band and with out any equipment...then like a super hero we show up in the nick of time and when I get on stage and was about to start the show they cut the power and say the show is over...WTF who the hell does something like this...there was still plenty of time to play and there was still a lot of people there waiting for us...to make matters worse the staff then stole one of our brand new puppets and then they stole all the door money... then they kicked out the entire crowd of people with still 3 hours left to be open...it's these kinds scumbag promoters and shithole venues that is destroying the thing we all love soooo much...live music...i hate this giant ego promoter and staff attitude that clearly states: why have a band when you can play music from pandora over the speakers for free...the staff and promoter from bogies in Albany is the biggest bunch of assholes and fat ass thieves I have ever met...and the most amazing part is I found out at the last minute that the show got booked by accident and I did my best to not cancel the show on them and after making a giant attempt to not disappoint any fan it is the venues promoter that cancels the show the moment we get there and steals all the door money..all this over ego...I said you play at 12 not 12:30....BOGIES IN ALBANY SUCKS OPEN CAT ASS
