Promoters for the 2013 NOCTIS VALKYRIES FESTIVAL, set to take place  in multiple venues 9/19-21, 2013 CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA have confirmed "WOMEN IN METAL", a conference on empowerment of women in the genre hosted by SARAH KITTERMAN and LAINA DAWES, author of "What are You Doing Here".

 2013 NOCTIS VALKYRIES FESTIVAL "WOMEN IN METAL" conference is is set to take place 9/19/2013 CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA, RAMADA HOTEL.

CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA (multiple venues)  have confirmed CARCASS, CANDLEMASS, GIRLSCHOOL, PAGAN ALTAR, SACRIFICE, WITCH MOUNTAIN and more..

Also, the 2013 NOCTIS VALKYRIES FESTIVAL will feature conferences with DAVE BROCKE (GWAR),  SAM DUNN, GENE HOGLAN, MARTIN POPOFF, TOSIN ABASI (ANIMALS AS LEADERS) and DAN SWANO (producer/musician).

I'll be speaking at this event as part of the NOCTIS Festival in Calgary next month. (Isn't it an awesome poster)?

As you all know, We'll be having some really great topics on WOMEN IN METAL at the conference, but as a special free public event, we are also going to feature two of those topics on THURSDAY SEPT 19th at the Ramada hotel. So if you have some friends and family who may be interested, tell them to come on down at 7pm and hear Sarah and Laina! These are two of the most interesting and provocative presentations I have heard all year!
