SOURVEIN: COMMENT ON PASSING OF (BASSIST) MIKE BOONE

North Carolina, sludge/doomsters SOURVEIN have commented on the death of bassist MIKE BOONE, whom died in his sleep 10/6/2013 at a friend's house after a sold out show in Brooklyn, NYC.

SOURVEIN unleashed "Black Fangs" 6/21/2011 via CANDLELIGHT RECORDS.
SOURVEIN unleashed a split with COFFINS 5/2/2012 via FORCE FIELD RECORDS.

SOURVEIN had just kicked off the bands 20th anniversary tour, now cancelled after BOONES death.

we sorry the rest of the shows have been canceled.we are sadden beyond words that after a very successful sold out show at st.vitus bar in brooklyn/ new york city our friend. brother and bassist mike boone passed away sunday mourning in his sleep at a friends house.a fund is being set up for his family and his daughter! we will have more details on that very soon.our hearts are heavy this very sad!the cape fear lost one of their best! much love boone
