TONIGHT: DUFF's BAR, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYC, New York will host its annual PETER STEELE TRIBUTE NIGHT, a benefit for THE NORTH SHORE ANIMAL LEAGUE.

PETER STEELE (Peter Thomas Ratajczyk), bassist/vocalist of Brooklyn, NYC, NY goth/metal warriors TYPE O NEGATIVE passed away from an aortic aneurism 4/14/2010.

TYPE O NEGATIVE unleashed "Dead Again" 3/13/2007 via SPV RECORDS/STEAM HAMMER.
TYPE O NEGATIVE are now disbanded.

This Saturday night is our annual Peter tribute night - Just an informal gathering of fans that has kinda snowballed as the years go by. Lots of TON, and we'll also be selling a tribute shirt, with all proceeds going to The North Shore Animal League (just like last year). The party starts @ 10 PM.
Saturday, April 12th is going to be our annual Peter Steele tribute night at the bar. It's an informal gathering of Peter's fan's, and his band and family members have also dropped in to visit on this night. We'll be playing all of Peter's music and remembering the big guy in a civilized manner (the civilized part would be much to his chagrin I imagine). We'll also be selling a Peter tribute shirt (image below), with his family's permission, with all proceeds to go to The North Shore Animal League.
