BRIAN WERNER (VITAL REMAINS and X COMMUNICATED CLOTHING): RESPONDS TO TRAYVON MARTIN HOODIE AS "A JOKE"

Brian Werner, vocalist for Providence, Rhode Island (USA) death metal veterans VITAL REMAINS has responded (via a YOU TUBE video) to a rather un PC controversy revolving around hoodies from his independent merch/clothing company XCOMMUNICATED.

BRIAN WERNER and XCOMMUNICATED CLOTHING stated the "Trayvon Martin" ( with graffiti/ urban styled font reading "TRAYVON" and blood splattered bullets (FRONT) and the statement "Stand Your Ground" in bold white letters in the back) hoodie idea came up as a "Joke" after a long night of drinking with friends, then a quick (later deleted) post on FACEBOOK.

TRAYVON MARTIN, an unarmed 17 year old black man buying "Skittles", adorning a hoodie in a store was shot and killed by a "neighborhood watchman" GEORGE ZIMMERMAN a few years ago as the notorious "Stand Your Ground" defense was used to prove ZIMMERMAN's innocence.

XCOMMUNICATED features controversial, provocative, UN PC merch, challenging religion ect.

VITAL REMAINS are currently seeking a new drummer as the band is "rumored" for a fall 2014 U.S. tour with CRYPTOPSY and bands TBA.

VITAL REMAINS unleashed "Icons Of Evil" 4/24/2007 via CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS.
