MAURIZIO IACONO (KATAKLYSM): COMMENTS ON NORTH CAROLINA METAL BAND PIGS BLOOD STUNT

MAURIZIO IACONO, vocalist for Canadian extreme metal warriors KATAKLYSM has commented on Charlotte, North Carolina blackened crust band THE YOUNG AND IN THE WAY's controversial 6/22/2014 show @ THE LEXINGTON AVE. BREWERY (ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA). THE YOUNG AND IN THE WAY flooded the stage (and back stage area during the bands 6/22/2014 show) with (real) pigs blood (thrown into the audience) , forcing the venue to close down for three days for a clean up.

The lack of new ideas amongst new metal bands emerging is disturbing and sad ,it seems no one can think of new things anymore .. thats why this industry called "metal " is at the bottom of the list these days..gone are the true rockstars and innovators , we are treating music the same way sports treat new future athletes and our kids ..
