Who are looking forward to Samael at Blastfest 2015?

They may hail from Switzerland, but it’s damn difficult for anyone to stay even remotely neutral confronted with the electronic metal that is the collective of archangels known under the moniker of Samael. One of those bands that first made a huge impact in the black metal scene, they have since moved on and become just as renowned for their more recent industrial sound. Is there anything more appropriate than a phenomenal band bringing a song called “Rain” to our rainy city!?

Next and 2nd EVER Craft show coming up in February at BLASTFEST 2015!! Who are looking forward to this very special event?

We hinted to it, that we would turn the earth into a raging blaze! Well, at least Bergen will be pretty intense this coming February as Craft joins in on the Blastfest 2015 lineup set on fucking the universe! This will be their first show in Norway, and their 2nd show EVER!

“Better to reign in Hell, than serve in Heaven”, John Milton wrote. You might know him as the author of the infamous work called Paradise Lost, from which this quote is taken. Well, whether there will be anyone serving or reigning remains to be seen, we are talking egalitarian BLASTFEST and Norway here. What seems to be certain though, is that the contemporary British ensembleParadise Lost will grace us with their on-stage presence for Blastfest 2015. This band is truly one of the pioneers in the doom metal genre, partaking in establishing the subgenre of ‘death-doom’. Forever Failure would be to miss this band playing Bergen for the very first time!

Oh, so you thought Norway couldn’t offer some of the more twisted brutal death metal out there? Well, here is the falsification of said assumption. The Sickening is one hell of a brutal band. One might not think that this kind of derangement could be fostered in the very belt-buckle of the Norwegian bible belt, but it sure was. Drag your collection of dead girls along, this is going to be a show for the entire grisly collection of people under your stairs.

What would a proper metal festival be without the inclusion of some good old New Wave Of British Heavy Metal? Well, we won’t even dignify that with an answer. We simply open the gates yet again, and now unleash Newcastle quintet Satan (Band) upon you.

BLASTFEST lay those wonders right at your feet. Yupp, a ticket to this year’s festival may very well be the Freecard you needed to get Therein. OK. Since you’ve already seen the logo above here, we might as well just stop it with the ridiculous wordplays: we are proud to welcome Dark Tranquillity to our ever-expanding lineup for Blastfest 2015. Along with At The Gates (Official) this constitutes our Gothenburg alibi, and that is one hell of a good alibi too!

Welcome to the second edition of BLASTFEST in Bergen, Norway. During a dark and cold weekend in February, we invite all of the metal community to join us AGAIN for a BLAST!
You know what you experienced last edition, or what you missed out on. Now we also know what we are doing, and we will make this bigger! We said we will be working on the next edition from Day 1.
