ITP V.014 UPDATE: REPOST ON ETIQUETTE

OK, here we go again. For the record, my name is not INDIVIDUAL, (how many times have I written journals entries about this, ITP is NOT the property of my landlord nor a promotional tool for them, just for me and extreme metal) secondly ITP is not property of any landlord as the author of the journal is stated via name in full on this blog  (ITP) and is her property only, under creative commons, text copy written, and NOT for sale.
This aforementioned issue is NOT debatable, or a lawsuit will commence.
It is our landlords responsibility to let the tenets know of any potential house buyer or open house to view the property, and, specifically strangers yelling or screaming at tenets here will be prosecuted and sued. You should resent the tactics and tell the landlord to do his job correctly and ethically.

RE POST for RETARDS WHOM DIDN'T GET IT THE FIRST TIME:

I found out last DECEMBER of 2013 via grilling my landlord over other issues the house I rent a studio apartment in is on the market to be sold. No one knows (:roll eyes:) how long the house has been on the market and it is likely many tenets were NOT told before they made a commitment to move in. We, as tenants have NOT, to this day been given written notice of the house we rent being on the market. However, a for sale sign via a Real Estate Agency magically appeared on our porch last month.

Friday and again TODAY, The Real Estate agent came buy with a potential buyer as the superintendent was given about a few minutes notice and the tenets were given no notice (we prefer timely notice in writing) of a potential  buyer looking in units before we were physically or mentally prepared to start our day. I told the Real Estate and agent and superintendent to let us know of any "open house" in writing so they can access our units and we'll be dressed and ready with ample notice.
DUH!!!!!
Basic lack of management communication skills with tenets in WRITING and humanizing your tenets 101.

I'v done alot of research on the various degrees of agendas on this issue last month from both sides of the fence. I haven't had mutch time for anything else.

Anyway, any one know of a studio apartment for $700.00 or $600.00 in Kingston, NY, I live alone, I'm a writer and I've paid rent for 3/12 years here, drop me a line.
I can't predict what's going to happen here, but I'm looking for new rental. I'll stay here if a new landlord buys me out at exactly what I'm paying, but no more, than what I'm paying.

When a buyer purchases a house they are also purchasing any existing leases.
An auction does not mean the house is foreclosed. If you are expected to vacate you are required to be given notice and unless it is a foreclosure the buyer or seller may decide to buy you out of your lease.

You do need to pay your rent.
The security deposit issue is dependent upon whether you have fullfilled the terms of your lease agreement, not whether the house gets sold.

A lot depends on whether this is a foreclosure property. Who gave you the notice? Bank, Realtor or owner?
