THE GATES OF SLUMBER: SURVIVING MEMBERS COMMENT ON "WINO" OF SAINT VITUS ARREST

Surviving members of Indiana, U.S.A, doom metal warriors THE GATES OF SLUMBER have commented on SAINT VITUS vocalist "WINO's" arrest in Norway.
SAINT VITUS sent a statement today as the bands vocalist "WINO" was detained and deported from NORWAY due to possession of illegal substances. Although SAINT VITUS NORWEGIAN show is cancelled, the band will perform their remaining EUROPEAN tour dates without vocalist "WINO".

THE GATES OF SLUMBER bassist JASON McCASH  passed away, 4/5/2014 from an alleged heroin overdose. JASON McCASH announced his departure from THE GATES OF SLUMBER last fall 2013.

THE GATES OF SLUMBER  unleashed "StormCrow" (EP) 1/29/2013 via SCION A/V.

FROM THE GATES OF SLUMBER:
I got nothing negative to say about Wino. He was always kind to TGoS and understood us and our fucked up brains. And that is an epic feat in and of itself. Dude may have issues, but he's a genuine soul.
I know if Jason were still here he'd agree, and in a poorly spelled post he'd tell the haters to step off. This music and way of life is at best tinged with self destruction. And I've seldom met anyone without a few demons and a couple of skeletons in their closet.
Judge not lest ye be judged is what the man said. Your game isn't near as tight. And your name will likely not live as long.
Peace,
Karl
