RUDY "WHITES RAKE" VERCRUYSSE, guitarist for Belgium based power metal warriors OSTROGOTH has passed away to cancer 1/3/2015.  






OSTROGOTH are set to release "Last Tribe Standing" (EP), due to be unleashed 1/23/2015 via EMPIRE RECORDS.

GUITARIST ' WHITES RAKE ' DEAD AT AGE 59 (English text below)---------------------------------------------------------We all knew this day was coming, but still does it much pain to publish this picture. Whites rake died tonight at 6 pm, at home, surrounded by family and close friends. Whites rake moisture since last summer an unfair fight against a too strong and invisible enemy, cancer.

 This weekend it has been two weeks since WhiteShark passed away. These past few weeks were like an emotional rollercoaster for the band. Excited about the upcoming release of our first material in almost 28 years time, but at the same time sad for the loss of a good friend. The band hadn't played together since our last show on December 6th, but this week we had our first two rehearsals with Sharky's successor, Geert Annys. And it already sounds great!
Geert (on the left) and Dario (on the right) will make WhiteShark's legacy live on! See you on tour, later this year! \m/
