ITP V.015 WORLD APOCALYPSE: "WE ARE NOT AFRAID", NAACP COLORODO CITY BOMBING and PARIS TERRORIST ATTACK

ITP V.015
WE ARE NOT AFRAID: Regarding the NAACP Colorado City (COLORADO) bombing and Paris Terrorist attack:
Here we are in the first week of 2015, as unconscionable tragedies have struck. In Colorado City, Colorado, U.S.A., the regional NAACP office was bombed as the horrid history of racial hatred (50's and 60's civil rights movement vs. segregation and Jim Crow laws) has reared its ugly head.
Last night, in Paris, France,  satirical newspaper "Charlie Hebdo" was attacked by gunmen as 12 people were killed, the gun men, considered Islamist extremists are still on the loose.
Mass protests in France, Germany against the mass murder terrorists have broken out.

VIDEO BELOW: PARIS TERRORIST ATTACKS (COURTESY OF THE GUARDIAN):

ITP V.015 EDITORS NOTE: I stand for democracy, first amendment rights and freedom of speech. My heart goes out to magazine editors, satirists, civil rights leaders, writers and cartoonists everywhere,  FUCK CENSORSHIP and FUCK TERRORISM.
BTW, in Journalism and blogging: Satire, reviews and criticism are protected under "FAIR USE", and of course first amendment rights. As one shouldn't have to put up with censorship nor a DMCA violation, let alone compromise safety, constitutional rights and civil liberties.
Speaking of Charlie Hebdo, NYC's first mayor was ratted out by political cartoonist Thomas Nast exposing over 200 million dollars of Tweed's embezzlement. Cartoonists can be satirical heroes that expose corruption for social change. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_M._Tweed http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Nast
WE ARE NOT AFRAID.
FROM NAACP:
"The NAACP is an object of affection by many Americans, but there is a small group of Americans that hate our work, hate our aspirations and do not mean us well." "We are very concerned and we are trying to be both as vigilant as we can in terms of protecting our people from any future harm as we are trying to be precise about what has in fact happened." - Cornell William Brooks, NAACP President and CEO

FROM AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL:

"This is a dark day for freedom of expression and a vibrant press culture. But above all, it is an appalling human tragedy," said Stephan Oberreit, Director of Amnesty International France

All our support to families of the victims of repugnant attack.
Vive freedom!

FROM GEORGE TAKEI:

My thoughts are with the families and friends of those gunned down in their offices in Paris. Terrorism ultimately cannot and will not prevail, where citizens such as those slain today have such courage to stand against it. ‪#‎JeSuisCharlie‬

FROM  DAVID DRAIMAN (DISTURBED):

APPARENTLY Bill Maher @billmaher WAS QUITE CORRECT. YOU CANT SATIRIZE ISLAM WITHOUT EXPECTING TO BE ATTACKED. MY HEART GOES OUT TO THE FAMILIES OF THE VICTIMS OF THE ‪#‎terrorist‬ ATTACK AT ‪#‎CharlieHebdo‬ IN PARIS, FRANCE. ‪#‎JeSuisCharlie‬

FROM KATAKLYSM: (MAURIZIO):

My heart goes out to our friends in France today , This terrorist attack is something that we should all take quite seriously, Freedom of speech and press must be protected at all costs , we need to stop pretending what is slowly happening in every country , freedom slipping through our fingers , they want to bring us back to the stone age , not me …not me, allez courage les amis!

FROM HELLFEST OPEN AIR:

"freedom of speech" ‪#‎jesuischarlie‬

FROM XTREME FEST:

During a week our screens will remain black. Black and dark as the days we are going through.
Pollux association wants to pay tribute to all victims of
The attack of 07/01/2015 on the premises of charly hebdo. A commitment associatif and culture, it is also a moral commitment and citizen. This is the desire to defend the rights of the human and social progress.
Freedom of expression should not be called into question. This is a
Fundamental right. We regret the deterioration in the climate - general in our country and in europe, the rise of racism, the Self - withdrawal, the religious radicalization and the rise of ideas and movements
Extremists. These ideas will not provide for constructive solutions to the contrary, they do not generate that tragedy, misfortunes , misery and sadness.
We hope that our country will be strong and responsible in the face of these
Events. And that the french population will be able to withstand any confusion easy, will remain respectful, fraternal and solidarity for a future Best.

FROM SOILWORK:

ALLEZ PARIS!!! Our thoughts are with you!!

You can't kill satire. There aren't enough bullets in the world to stop all the laughter that will eventually drown the hate and the stupidity.

FROM KAOTOXIN RECORDS:

In regard of yesterday's events in France, we'd just like to post this and not go into any commenting or political debate, in respect to the victims and in praise of what was the fight of their lives: OUR liberty.
Thanks for all they did these past 50 years, for us all.

FROM EFF (ELECTRONIC FRONTIERS FOUNDATION):

EFF is stunned and deeply saddened by the attack on Charlie Hebdo, a French satirical newspaper. As free speech advocates, we mourn the use of violence against individuals who used creativity and free expression to engage in cultural and political criticism.

FROM NO: CARRIER:

I've always been a big ‪#‎Asterix‬ fan. Thanks ‪#‎Uderzo‬ and all the other cartoonists commenting on the case.
Our music is not so controversial as satirical cartoons, but I bet there could be people who find something offensive in one song or the other (but those proably are offended by a lot of things).
But art (and not just art) must be allowed free speech.
