In a failed attempt at investigative music journalism, Extreme metal webzine METAL SUCKS mistook a pic of TEXAS death/grind band HOD ( guitarist Daniel Luebben) for Indiana, USA blackened/grind band NUCLEAR HELLFROST.
HOD stated, "We however, are also not Pantera fans and we took a picture for ourselves expressing this opinion. Although a member ACTED like he was pissing on this mural, nobody pissed on anything. None of us has pissed on or defaced anything with Darrell Abbot's name or likeness on it.".
Last weekend, Arlington, Texas thrash metal legends PANTERA have complained of alleged grave desecration ( PANTERA guitarist "DIMEBAG" DARRELL ABBOTT's grave) and a slanderous post (below) via "CRUSTY PLAGUE" on instagram.
Indiana blackened grind warriors NUCLEAR HELLFROST stated (and admitted the hoax) the instagram post was a "hoax" and " misguided political publicity stunt" via the bands former lead vocalist "With an awful sense of humor".
PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN guitarist "DIME BAG" DARRELL ABBOTT's died 12/8/2004 after a deranged, wingnut, gun man NATHAN GALE shot him as he was performing in Columbus, Ohio.
HOD released "Book Of The Worm" 9/9/2014 via ARCTIC MUSIC GROUP.
PANTERA's released a 20th anniversary edition of the bands classic release "FAR BEYOND DRIVEN", re-unleashed 3/25/2014.

- We are not Nuclear Hellfrost
- We were never Nuclear Hellfrost. The implications that they changed their name to Hod to hide from Pantera fans is absurd. If you can dig up a pic that wasn't for public then you can dig up plenty of fliers and footage showing we are two different bands.
- We will NEVER be Nuclear Hellfrost nor anything like them.
- We have never been to Darrell Abbot's grave.
- We have no intention of ever going to Darrell Abbot's grave.
- We do not condone what was allegedly done to Darrell Abbot's grave whether it was a hoax or not.
- We however, are also not Pantera fans and we took a picture for ourselves expressing this opinion.

Harassing us for an apology for expressing our opinions isn't going to happen. Just like all of you have openly and freely expressed your dislike of our music, we are free to do the same. This harassment would be similar to us demanding an apology from every Pantera fan that has come on here and threatened us and said we suck. It's both childish and asinine.
Metalsucks and Metal Injection took a photo from a personal profile and attached it to a Nuclear Hellfrost story without doing their research. Causing a lot of this mess in the first place. They will be dealt with accordingly.
Since this debacle has begun, we have had death threats and threats of bodily harm to ourselves, our families, and our women. We have also had female friends/fans who have defended us online message us saying they're receiving death threats AND rape threats. Is this the image you want for Pantera fans?
Since this all started I've had a few conversations with people who actually knew him. They seem to feel the same way I do. Darrell wouldn't bat an eye at our picture. He'd laugh, shrug it off, and say oh well fuck 'em. And go about his life.
If Darrell Abbot is/was what all you fans who claim to know him say he is/was, then ask yourself this; are you truly honoring his memory by acting this way over a stupid picture?
You can continue to hate us and make stupid memes and whatever else. That's your right to do so and we accept and acknowledge that.
It is also our right to disagree.
