SLAYER: SET TO UNLEASH NEW TRACK "WHEN THE STILLNESS COMES (LIVE)" 4/18/2015 ON RECORD STORE DAY

L.A., California thrash legends SLAYER release are set to release "WHEN THE STILLNESS COMES (LIVE)" limited edition 5, 000) , a new track, on limited edition picture disc vinyl due to be unleashed 4/18/2015 (RECORD STORE DAY) via NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS.

SLAYER are set to release a new offering SUMMER 2015 produced by TERRY DATE via NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS.

SLAYER have unleashed a photo montage of the bands latest recording sessions on FACEBOOK.

SLAYER drummer PAUL BOSTAPH has returned back to the band in replacement of DAVE LOMBARDO, whom was ousted from the band due to contract issues.

PAUL BOSTAPH left SLAYER in 2001, recording and touring with the band from 1992-2001.

SLAYER drummer DAVE LOMBARDO was suspended from playing SLAYER's Australian tour (SOUNDWAVE) because of contract and financial issues. JON DETTE (TESTAMENT) filled in for SLAYER's DAVE LOMBARDO and also ANTHRAX drummer CHARLIE BENANTE during both bands AUSTRALIAN touring commitments.

SLAYER guitarist JEFF HANNEMAN passed away 5/2/2013 from LIVER FAILURE "(Cirrhosis of The Liver").

SLAYER unleashed "World Painted Blood" 11/3//2009 on AMERICAN RECORDINGS/COLUMBIA.

SLAYER are set to unveil their first new track in nearly a year by way of Record Store Day on April 18th.
"When The Stillness Comes," plus a 2014 live recording from Wacken Open Air of "Black Magic" (from the band's 1983 album, 'Show No Mercy') will be available as a limited edition (5000 copies only) 7" vinyl picture disc via Nuclear Blast Records.

SLAYER (Tom Araya, Kerry King & Paul Bostaph) recorded "When The Stillness Comes" last year in Los Angeles with super-producer, Terry Date. The band are currently in the final stages of recording what will be their first new album since 2009's Grammy-nominated 'World Painted Blood' opus, with the new release expected later this year via Nuclear Blast.
