SKYFORGER: POST NEW VIDEO FOR "MELNAS BURAS"

Latvia based Pagan/folk black metal warriors SKYFORGER have posted a video for "MELNAS BURAS", a track from the bands latest release "SENPRUSIJA", unleashed 4/6/2015 via THUNDERFORGE RECORDS.







SKYFORGER released "KURBADS" 5/8/2010 via METAL BLADE RECORDS.

As promised, here is video for new album song "Melnās buras". It transports you back into the dark times of the Great Northern War (1700-1721), when the plague reigned over coasts of the Baltic Sea, where it killed about a third of the Prussian population. Unfortunately, it also took the last native speakers of the Old Prussian language and those who still kept the old ways alive. It can be said that after the plague, the Old Prussians had ceased to exist as a nation..
"Melnās buras" klausītāju aizved aiztālajos Lielā Ziemeļu kara laikos (1700-1721), kad daudzviet Eiropā uzplaiksnīja mēra epidēmija – it sevišķi gar Baltijas jūras krastmalu. Apmēram viena trešdaļa Prūsijas iedzīvotāju gāja bojā mērī un no bada. Par nelaimi izmira arī pēdējie cilvēki, kas vēl runāja prūšu valodā un mutiski nodeva senās zināšanas no paaudzes paaudzē. Var teikt, ka pēc mēra prūši kā nācija vairs nepastāvēja..
