CARCASS: "Sorry for Walker's lacklustre performance in Seattle last night....here's the reason why! Talk about "break a leg"...

JEFF WALKER, bassist for UK grind-core/death metal legends CARCASS broke 2 bones in his foot as the band are currently on tour with SLAYER and TESTAMENT.
CARCASS have vowed to continue on SPRING 2016 U.S. the trek with SLAYER and TESTAMENT.

CLINICAL CONCERN: Pain, r/o Fracture.

COMPARISON: None
FINDINGS: Diastatic fracture demonstrated at the base of the fifth
metatarsal with roughly 8 mm separation of the bony fragments as well as
slight rotation of the proximal fragment.

In addition to the fracture at the base of the fifth metatarsal there is
also a mildly displaced fracture involving the lateral distal calcaneus
best demonstrated on the AP view. Possible nondisplaced fracture involving
the medial proximal corner of the cuboid on the oblique view.

The remainder the foot is notable for moderate degenerative change of the
first metatarsal-phalangeal joint and moderate soft tissue swelling over
the metatarsal region
