There are rumors going around about the Discharge tour being cancelled. Despite asking for clarification, we have been left in the dark and still have not received an official statement about it from management. All we can tell you at this point is that they will not be playing MDF. We'll figure out how to amend the schedule tomorrow.
Zhrine (Iceland) to replace Svartidaudi (Iceland) at MDF 2016.
"Svartidauði regretfully must announce that we will not make it to Maryland Deathfest this year. We have encountered unforeseen delays in some of our visa application processes which have forced us to bow out. The cancellation is a mutual decision by us and MDF due to the formality of our visa status being uncertain until right at the start of the festival. We would like to apologize to our American fans who have waited to see us for years, and to MDF, who share absolutely none of the blame or responsibility for this utterly disappointing turn of events. We would at the same time like to thank both our fans and MDF for their patience and support. We are working hard to ensure that we can make a long-awaited appearance in the States at the earliest opportunity.
