WOLFSZEIT FESTIVAL 2016 8/25-27, 2016 CRISPENDORF, THURIGEN, GERMANY ANNOUNCE: KAMPFAR CANCEL

Norwegian pagan black metal warriors KAMPFAR have announced the bands has cancelled out their scheduled appearance at WOLFSZEIT FESTIVAL, set to take place 2016 8/25-27, 2016 CRISPENDORF, THURIGEN, GERMANY. 









 WOLFSZEIT FESTIVAL 2016 will feature SATYRICON, SOLSTAFIR, URFAUST, OBSCURITY, FIRTAN, HARAKIRI FOR THE SKY, ARKONA and more extreme metal bands.

Leider müssen KAMPFAR aus gesundheitlichen Gründen ihre Show am WOLFSZEIT von 2016 auf 2017 verschieben:
"Kampfar has ever only cancelled two shows. Once because our nightliner was stopped on the Austrian border with a broken back axle and a replacement bus was too far away, and the other time because of the birth of Dolk's twins.
We do not cancel lightly, we have performed shows with injuries, illness, in moments of personal grief and we've done all-nighters to get to shows, experiencing hurricanes, tornadoes, broken brakes and innumerable blown tires on our way to that hour on stage.
But now we have to sacrifice something. As some may know Dolk has had serious health issues that first appeared on our last European trek in April. We have made the decision, as a group, to do the festival shows this summer, but it has become evident that Dolk is not getting any better. With an upcoming tour two months down the line, and based on the advice from his physician, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our appearance at the Wolfszeit Festival.
That said, we have already confirmed that we will come back in 2017 instead, and we promise one hell of a performance to make up for missing out on this year's festival. "
