Yesterday we finally released a new song and we hope you liked “Perennial”! We wanted to also give you a little bit more info on our new members, starting with Tom O'Dell.
Fans may recognise him from various other projects; as well as guesting on “The Event Horizon”, Tom has been active in the atmoblack scene since 2017 with his solo project
“I’m beyond excited to be a part of Sojourner. I’ve been a huge fan of the band since I heard the opening notes of “Homeward” back in 2017 and fell into the wonderful world of atmospheric metal. I’ve had the privilege of calling the Sojo guys friends for years, and now I’m honoured to call them bandmates!”

Now for the final introduction of our new members, and now we present Lucia!
Lucia has been active into the Italian folk scene as singer of the progressive/folk band “Trewa” , as member of the “Celtic Harp Orchestra” and occasionally collaborating as session singer with some other local bands like “Ephyra” which she has joined for an entire year temporary replacing their previous singer; in the last few years she also took part in a new Electro Ambient project called “Monochrome The City” which has drawn her into a completely different atmospheric soundscape.
Lucia states:
“I have always loved the way Sojourner's musical atmosphere can literally transport you to a different dimension and now I feel very honored to be able to participate in the creation of their vibrant landscapes...and also I can't wait to hit the stage with the guys! Hopefully this will happen soon!”

"With wanting to revisit the old style of SOJOURNER I decided to tap into our roots on a lyrical level. 'Perennial' very much follows the thread of nature and it’s loss at our very own hands. This theme was prevalent in several songs on our first album so it made sense to revisit that. The vocals were meticulously worked on with Lucia to make sure that every single word worked in its tone and placement. Later, with Tom joining in on backing vocals at the very end, we truly felt happy with the end result.We are super excited about our future with our two new awesome members!"
