Dear friends and beloved enemies
After a lot of thinking and consulting with my beloved bandmates, I have decided to take a break from CARPATHIAN FOREST.
Lately I also had a lof of "interesting" mental issues. Not only your usual depressions, but hearing voices, having visual hallucinations, etc. I think it is perhaps time to figure out what the hell this is all about. Because the world is beginning to look a bit freaky to put it mildly.
Third but not last. I have criminal charges to deal with. I will most likely end up in prison for growing cannabis. That one is something I am absolutely not sorry for doing. No matter how hard they decide to punish me, I did nothing wrong.
I Knowingly broke the law and I understand the state has a duty to punish me and I am ok with that. I am however not sorry, not ashamed and I believe it should be the duty of each and every man to break the law when the law is immoral.
So basically just fuck you all!
I want to thank my bandmates for being understanding and supportive and always standing behind me 100%. You guys are the best. I fucking love you!
I also need to stress that I am not leaving the band. I will just not be doing any more live shows until I am physically and mentally well enough to do so. I will continue to work with them musically in the studio, contribute with writing music and so on.
And perhaps some day you will see me on stage with the band again. Stranger things have happened in this old brew of a world we live in.
The upcoming gigs in Germany this weekend will be your last chance to see me live with Carpathian Forest for the unforeseeable future.
In the meantime I will try to see friends, get professional help, work with my tiny Vrangsinn and the arsonists project, do a few club gigs as a vocalist with them, record an album and whatever awaits around the next corner.

As you may or may not know.. Our last show at Nottingham on the 26th of November was an important show for us.
Our brother, guitarist and song writer, Azrael made the difficult decided to stand down from his live duites.
Azrael has been with Heathen Deity since late 98 and has co written and recorded every Heathen Deity release in our discography. Azrael will continue to write and record with us in the future so this is by no means the end.
Brothers and Sisters, join us and wish him well in his future plans.

"A time to reflect.
OK, I have been reflecting a little, mostly on my time with Heathen Deity. It has indeed been a life work and we accomplished so much since our re-uniting on the live circuit/scene in 2016. It wasn't the easiest of roads to endure. It had it's ups and downs, and moments where it really soared into the stratosphere. It was the best of times.
Every obstacle we faced, every problem encountered we endured. I had my fair share of arguments with band memebers and on some occasions I really did spit my dummy out. Was indeed most likely uncalled for but I also had my faults too. But what can I say? We did what we did on our own terms without compromise. All those arguments and in band squabbling aside I am extremely proud of everyone that came into the band and did what they did. REALLY PROUD. Alot of the time I felt we were the underdogs in the UK Black Metal scene. I always felt we were being watched and judged, or in some cases disregarded. I always felt like we, in the eyes of others, mainly our peers, that we had to prove something, when in fact we didn't have to do anything of the sort. Time and our results of the last few years have proven that to me. What we did was real and as honest as we could have been.
Heathen Deity and the horde now march into the future. The unknown. One thing is certain though, it will be true and honest, it is still English and most important it is still Black Metal. I look forward to seeing it unfold from the sidelines..

Today we present you the Trident of Death European Tour that will take place in March 2023.
After 5 long years shall the Finnish Black Metal legends of Azaghal (Official) finally hit the road again to promote their upcoming 12th full length album "Alttarimme on Luista Tehty" which shall be released on 24th of February 2023. On Thursday 15th December 2022, shall the band release their first music video from the upcoming album through Immortal Frost Productions.
And of course they won't be travelling alone as three other devoted Black Metal bands will join them on this blasphemous rite through europe!
First support is none less then the Portuguese Black Metal masters of Corpus Christii who are well known for their craft and are one of the oldest Black Metal bands hailing from their country. On this tour they'll be promoting their 9th full length album "The Bitter End of Old" which was released in May 2022".
Second support is the international Black Metal band Liber Null forged by members of Frostmoon Eclipse, Darvaza, etc.. whom released their first debut album through Osmose Productions back in 2016. Also they will be promoting their latest opus, their second album "For Whom Is The Night" which was released in June 2022.
And last but certainly not least, the third support is one of the most prominent Black Metal bands from United Kingdom, SIDIOUS. The band came to existence back in 2012 and has since then released an EP and 3 Studio albums, of which the last one was released in March 2022.
