JESTER MAJESTY was founded in 2024 by Alessandro Gargivolo, former frontman of the Thrash Metal band Alchemist, from Turin. After years of channeling aggression and precision through Thrash, Gargivolo began sketching a more refined, ambitious vision, one driven by technical complexity, abstract concepts, and a darker theatricality. What started as a collection of riffs too elaborate and introspective for the Thrash mold evolved into a fully-formed identity: JESTER MAJESTY.
JESTER MAJESTY is built upon the collaboration between Gargivolo and Erymanthon Seth, a virtuoso guitarist now based in Sweden, known for his work with Apocalypse and Feralia. While their previous projects span radically different sonic territories, their mutual obsession with Metal guitar craftsmanship forms the creative core of JESTER MAJESTY.
Gargivolo, who handles all guitars, bass, vocals, and composition, brings a sharp mathematical edge to songwriting, carefully balancing riff-driven aggression with deeply conceptual layers. Seth contributes to the melodic intricacy with a fusion of classical influences on lead guitar and keyboards across key tracks.
JESTER MAJESTY's sound is a modern resurrection of late '80s and '90s progressive and technical Metal, filtered through a dystopian lens. Expect obscure riffs, neoclassical solos, polyrhythms, sudden tempo shifts, and haunting clean vocal sections. There's a noticeable nod to pioneers like Control Denied, Psychotic Waltz and Watchtower, yet the production and conceptual ambitions push the band into a new futuristic territory.

JESTER MAJESTY's debut full-length, "Infinite Measure, Finite Existence", is a concept album reflecting on the paradox between humankind's insatiable pursuit of knowledge and its own biological and existential limits. Structured around the idea of "measure", both as a scientific instrument and as a metaphor for control, destiny, and mortality, the album merges dystopian narrative threads with mathematical motifs and philosophical undercurrents.
