album explores ideas of physical and mental degradation, of loss and
grieving both from an external point of view and from a person going
through it. Aesthetically I felt the analogue quality of a lost and
degraded signal, the texture of an imperfect reproduction of something
that has been remembered many times until it starts fluttering and
fading perfectly encapsulates this concept."
