This previously unreleased composition fulfills a long-standing desire of the band to explore the ballad format, blending Sepultura’s identity with the melodic sensitivity of renowned collaborators. To bring this project to life, Sepultura enlisted the essential collaboration of Sérgio Britto and Tony Bellotto of Titãs - musicians who share a long history with the band and are widely recognized as specialists in the genre, as well as composers of classics such as “Polícia. 
The result of a direct partnership between members of Sepultura and Titãs, the song celebrates the connection between artists who share the stage and a deep passion for creation. The outcome is a piece that brings great satisfaction to everyone involved, establishing itself as both an emotional and historical milestone featured on the band’s final EP, released in this very year that marks Sepultura’s official farewell.

We’re excited to announce that Blaze Bayley will headline the Maidenville stage on Friday night at EddFest this summer!
Blaze: “I’m so excited to be invited to headline Friday night at EddFest, celebrating 50 years of Iron Maiden, I am so proud of my two albums with the band and I’m really looking forward to playing some of the songs that we recorded together. Can’t wait to see you all at the hallowed grounds of Knebworth!”
Steve has also invited Gypsy’s Kiss, the band he formed in 1974 with singer and guitarist, David Smith, to perform on the Maidenville stage on Friday. As the very first band Steve ever played with they were an instrumental part of Steve’s journey to form Iron Maiden a year later.
Steve: “Having the opportunity to put together our very own festival at Knebworth, and celebrate 50 years of Iron Maiden, has given me a chance to bring together friends past and present and create a really special weekend for the fans.
I’m very pleased that Blaze is able to join us and perform some of the songs we wrote and recorded in the 90s. He has been a big part of Iron Maiden’s career, and I know the fans will be really excited to see him on stage at EddFest. It’s also great to have Gypsy’s Kiss playing with us at Knebworth too. They were a big part of my musical heritage and it’s really exciting to have them play at the Maidenville stage.”
Camping ticket holders for the only UK headline show in 2026 will be able to access the EddFest site on the Friday night, the day before regular ticket holders. Wow! "The Everlasting Shadows" has been out on most streaming platforms for a week now and your responses have been somewhat overwhelming for us. Your kind words mean a lot to us and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the support.
We know that the album is missing from some platforms, like YT Music, and we don't know when it will be released there as we are putting it out via Distrokid and we can't control the releases in detail. It will be out on all platforms in due time.
We are also looking into getting it out on Bandcamp.  Can't say when, but we'll let you know when it's out there.
And yes, there will be a physical release planned for October. More on that soon too.

During the band’s discourse since the release of their Reflections debut LP Godthrymm have been recognized as the new emerging band from the UK to bring back the glorious aura of early-mid ‘90s UK doom metal. As expected, considering Godthrymm was formed and is helmed by UK doom metal veteran Hamish Glencross (ex-My Dying Bride/Vallenfyre/Solstice) and features doom metal drummer extraordinaire Shaun Taylor-Steels (ex-My Dying Bride/Anathema). So in this sense, the classic UK doom metal DNA has already been implemented within the sonic fabric of Godthrymm.
Projections sees Godthrymm continue to develop and broaden their sound even further, and building upon the cornerstones of Distortions. Now with an expanded lineup which includes keyboardist co-vocalist Catherine Glencross, bassist Bob Crolla and new second guitarist Kris McLaughin, Projections is GODTHRYMM’s most layered, varied and complex release yet, all while still upholding the colossal emotionally charged heavy doom backbone that has defined the core of the band’s sound.
Projections features guest appearances by Aaron Stainthorpe (High Parasite/ex-My Dying Bride), original English Dogs vocalist Adie Bailey, and Xentrix vocalist Jay Walsh. Cover art was done by Mitchell Nolte.
