ITP V.011 UPDATE: REVIEWS, NEWS FEATURES

ITP V.011 UPDATE: So, while I'm trying to feel better after getting sick (toothache/cold), ITP V.011's author has been cramming in the reviews.I'm very busy, pissed off, and tired, so everything been pushed, back and of course ITP V.011 will continue on MY TERMS.
OK, this repetitive journal entry seems redundant, I'll have to be more organized and post the metal news features, lmao. Yeh, you're probably saying "I want NFTEMU, DAMNED IN BLACK and HUMANITY IS DOOMED, get it over with." I'm working on it.I'm NOT to amused with those whom are making "threats" against metal heads randomly, and they will go to jail and worse case scenario they will get my straight edge foot in thier mouth.
UPDATE: 12/5/2011: I got surfing the internets for ME, and researching stuff, and I have many things to do today, so the reviews this weekend and ITP V.011 schedule is pushed back a bit, BBL. DECAPITATED "CARNIVAL IS FOREVER" review TONIGHT.Looks like I got pre occupied with personal web surfing and I'm late on the reviews, lmao. SOWEE, I need sleep. Yes, the ITP V.011 news feature procrastination CONTINUES, as I write about writing ITP news features, more so than actually getting it done, I know, pathetic, LMAO (although blogging isn't high priority). I was wondering if writing the metal news features monthly (NFTEMU, DAMNED IN BLACK and HUMANITY IS DOOMED) would be a little redundant, (I used to post ITP METAL NEWS FEATURES MONTHLY).. I'm thinking about perhaps posting the metal news features bi monthly or quarterly, per quarter touring cycle. There fore, more potential time for ITP V.011 REVIEWS:

GWAR: POST NORTH AMERICAN TOUR UPDATE

Virginia, USA intergalactic metal warriors GWAR have issued a post tour update as the band have just wrapped up their fall 2011 North American tour (with EVERY TIME I DIE, WARBEAST and GHOUL) in tribute to deceased guitarist CORY SMOOT (AKA: Flattus Maximus) whom passed away during a border crossing on the bands tour bus. CORY SMOOT's cause of death is still unknown.
FROM GWAR: The bus dropped us off this morning. We have never come home without everybody and it's a bittersweet feeling. Thanks so much everybody for giving us the strength to carry on and finish this tour. It wasn't easy, but I have never been so proud of our fans and my colleagues. And for the band to step up like that after losing Cory...well, it's nothing short of amazing. A GWAR tour is not an easy thing to do under the best of circumstances, but it had to be done, and we did it. WE. You and us -- the GWAR family. We came together and helped each other through the darkest days in GWAR history...and made it...special love to Every Time I Die, Ghoul, and Warbeast for making all those drives, rocking all those houses, and being good company. Rest in peace Cory. Now, a good long nap....thanks again everybody, we love you!!!!

NOAM CHOMSKY: TO SPEAK AT SUNY NEW PALTZ, NEW PALTZ, NY 12/4/2011

Social/political activist and author NOAM CHOMSKY will speak at SUNY NEW PALTZ, NY 12/4/2011 at one of the LECTURE CENTERS (I assume) about late author/historian HOWARD ZINN as no more info is available.
EDITORS NOTE: Two of my favorite authors and social political inspirations Chosmky and the late Zinn. "A Peoples History Of The United States"-HOWARD ZINN is NOW mandated college reading, and should be, the book is a honest, genuine, unbiased history of the real America, not just Euro/America. I wish I could be there. Noam Chomsky is better choice than Elliot Spitzer at SUNY NEW PALTZ a few years ago.

WEST MEMPHIS THREE: PARADISE LOST 3:PURGATORY: Todd and Dana Moore, parents of Victim Protest 'Paradise Lost' Doc's Oscar Consideration

Todd and Dana Moore, parents of murdered child (ROBIN HOOD HILLS MURDERS 1993--WEST MEMPHIS THREE CASE) Michael Moore are protesting the third in a series of documentaries regarding the WEST MEMPHIS THREE CASE, PARADISE LOST: PURGATORY. Tood and Dana Moore claim documentary creators Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky "Profited from one of the greatest frauds ever perpetrated under the guise of a documentary film." PARADISE LOST 3: PURGATORY will premier on HBO 1/12/2012 as Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky responded to the parents of one of victims.

TICKETMASTER: Ticketmaster giving 'processing fee' refunds for a decade's worth of tickets

Worldwide ticket agency and entertainment monopoly TICKETMASTER are giving refunds for a decade of over charging for service/processing fees due to a class action lawsuit.In 2009, TICKETMASTER and LIVE NATION merged (1/25/2010-LIVE NATION ENTERTAINMENT) and faced several lawsuits for allegedly diverting tickets to "brokers" (scalpers) and a perceived monopoly regarding anti trust lawsuits.

Thanks to a class-action lawsuit settlement, users of Ticketmaster's website for the past decade will be getting some of those ridiculous fees back.

In a proposed class-action settlement, the company will be forced to credit $1.50 per ticket order for up to 17 orders back to customers for profiting off of "processing fees" without disclosing that fact, Business Insider reports.

Users of Ticketmaster's site between Oct. 21, 1999 and Oct. 19, 2011 are eligible for the rebate, though nothing will happen before April 15, 2012 and payments won't be issued until 30 days of the settlement's final approval -- which is now scheduled for May 29, 2012.

That doesn't mean those fees will stop, however -- Ticketmaster can still charge them, they just have to openly disclose that they're profiting off them.

If, during the four years consumers have to redeem their credits, less than $11.25 million is redeemed, Ticketmaster will donate the rest of the money to charity.

Score one for the little guy!

AGALLOCH: ANNOUNCE SPRING 2012 EUROPEAN TOUR WITH VELNIAS

Portland, Oregon based ambient extreme metal warriors AGALLOCH have announced a spring 2012 European tour with VELNIAS, tour dates on flyer above.

We have returned to the rainy, cold, and fog-drenched Northwest. There are many people to thank for their hospitality during our stay in Israel. To begin with we owe tremendous thanks to Yishai Sweartz who has been a friend of the band even before its formation. Yishai and Anderson were penpals during the pre-Internet days of the underground. Yishai is responsible for bringing us over and making sure we were all comfortable and well fed. We’d like to thank him and his parents for the amazing dinner we all shared. We were so happy to experience an Israeli family dinner. Thanks also to Anit, Tal, and Roi Roco Cohen who showed us around Tel Aviv and generally took care of us. We were also very honored to have the long-running Israeli band Salem pay us a visit and provide us with shirts and cds. Thank you to Yacov Estrin and Sara Mandell for showing us around Jerusalem and sharing their insight on Israeli life and to Maayan for the jewelry she made for us. Thanks to David at Metalshop for having us as well as everyone at the Metal Bar for a night of drinking and revelry. Further thanks are in order to our sound man Wolf Caspi and stage manager Roy Sherman who all made sure we had excellent backline and sound as well as everyone at the Reading 3 club. And most of all a very special thanks to our Israeli fans who made this entire trip more than worth it. We hope to visit again in the future!
