 FROM WALDGEFLUSTER:

"Unter bronzenen Kronen" was officially released today. Thank you so much for all the support and the nice words about it so far. We have never done something as spontanious as this record, and I am glad some of you seem to like it. Spontanious means: The idea to do a Mini Album with 2 cover songs we had lying around for some years, look at Herbst befiel das Land from a different perspective and writing a new song, came to us in December last year. Releasing this mini album just some months later is absolutely fast for us, and I am incredibly proud on the end result and also my bandmates for keeping up the pace.
Thanks to Sven and AOP Records for walking this road with us and making this weird little record possible!
Good. Now that this is over, it's time to fully focus on the next full length again. I have some ideas for that in mind that will take a bit longer, but don't you worry: You will see another long-ass full length with only original songs - drained in melancholy and sadness - from us down the road.

He is a highly talented drummer named Jakub Bayer! Here you can listen to how he rocked our latest track.

Songtradr will continue to operate Bandcamp as a marketplace and music community with an artist-first revenue share.

Bandcamp is an online music store and community with over 5M artists and labels where fans can discover, connect with, and directly support the artists they love. This acquisition will help Bandcamp continue to grow within a music-first company and enable Songtradr to expand its capabilities to support the artist community.

Songtradr will also offer Bandcamp artists the ability and choice to have their music licensed to all forms of media including content creators, game and app developers and brands. This will enable artists to continue to own and control their music rights, and increase their earning capacity from Songtradr’s global licensing network.

Epic is exploring ways to partner with Songtradr to build an inventory of music where artists can opt in to have their music licensed for use in Epic’s ecosystem. We are incredibly proud to announce the first batch of bands for Beyond the Gates 2024. We say this every time, but we do promise that next year is going to be something you’ve never experienced before. On the back of that statement, please welcome the juggernaut that is BEHEMOTH! The band hasn’t played in Bergen since 2012, so their return is much welcomed. We’re also very excited to be able to present Satyricon, who is releasing a new album next spring, and will return to the live scene for the first time in five years!
Founders and innovators Venom and WATAIN will also grace Beyond the Gates with a visit next year with their spectacular and energetic live shows.
Moving on, Trelldom, featuring the iconic singer Gaahl, who will do their first live appearance ever since their formation in the early 90s. Vreid will celebrate 30 years of Sognametal, while Norwegian black metalers Djevel and Dødheimsgard will grant us with exclusive sets.
Completing the first round of names are the Czech’s Cult of Fire with their massive live show, the mysterious Darkspace from Switzerland and Polish Manbryne, who will do their first concert outside of their home country.
As always, the festival will be stacked with numerus activities you can experience in addition to the live concerts: Guided tours, fairs, market and so forth.

 MIKKEY DEE, drummer for SCORPIONS and former drummer for MOTORHEAD was interviewed by  CHAOSZINE.  MIKKEY DEE talks MOTORHEAD, and the 60th anniversary of the SCORPIONS.

PHIL CAMPBELL and MIKKEY DEE,  surviving members of British metal legends MOTORHEAD were at a ceremony at HELLFEST OPEN AIR 2022 for the unveiling of the LEMMY KILMISTER statue and enshrinement of his ashes. .

 

LEMMY KILMISTER (IAN FRASER) passed away 12/28/2015 to cancer at 70.



MOTORHEAD unleashed the bands anticipated live release "CLEAN YOUR CLOCK", 5/27/2016 (CD/DVD/BLUE RAY) via UDR MUSIC.

MOTORHEAD released "BAD MAGIC", 8/28/2015 via UDR MUSIC.

 Slovakia based symphonic black metal warriors AEON WINDS are set to release the bands new offering "NIGHT SKY ILLUMINATIONS", due to be unleashed 11/24/2023 via AVANTGARDE MUSIC.

After four years of waiting, Slovak atmospheric black metallers Aeon Winds are back with their new album Night Sky Illuminations. Their third full-length studio album, it follows up the themes the band dealt with in their previous album Stormveiled (2019) and the EP Extinguishing the Light (2022).

Recorded, mastered and produced at Tryzna Studio, Aeon Winds new studio album features a painting by Russian digital illustrator Yaroslav Gerzhedovich, and will be released on CD, LP and digital November 24th, 2023 via Avantgarde Music.

Preorders and the first single will be available starting monday, October 2nd.
