LIVE NATION: ANNOUNCE "ON THE ROAD PROGRAM", END VENUES TAKING CUT ON MERCH PROFITS.


Promoters LIVE NATION have announced "ON THE ROAD PROGRAM" offering touring bands $1, 500 for gas and ending the practice of venues taking a cut of bands merch profits.

This is certainly a good start! Now let's hope this is the beginning of the end of this utterly disgusting theft from us artists and fans.
I hope this now spreads to all venues and promoters worldwide so we can get rid of this behavior once and for all.
They must understand that we will never let them drain & kill the scene. And that without the band and the artists, they have no job themselves. So time to show us respect!
