Finland based death metal warriors DEMILICH have announced SPRING 2020 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES.

DEMILICH WILL TOUR THE USA AGAIN ON MAY!
This is Nomat Ibant from Demilich Chakra Center, nice to see you again. Well, we're not seeing each other, it's just me seeing you. And your family. But that's not the point of this posting.
Demilich will tour the USA on May 2020. This time they will hit both coasts, and even touch – in a perfectly non-harassing way – a small and intimate part of Canada!
The official announcement was made yesterday, but it was an impossible day for the band itself to announce anything. First of all, Jarkko's homeopathologist and foreign language mantra teacher pointed out that Thursday and number 27 mean bad karma. You knew this, I'm sure. Also, Aki's reiki healer (orientation: opening horizons with speech) noted that Aki's sensitivity doesn't allow anything to be published unless he's prepared for it for 24 hours after the initial impression and the energy waves of the public. Lauri's (mostly secular) coffee enema operator / hair splitter opposed, for important reasons unknown. Above all, Antti was missing in present tense, and still is.
I personally don't believe anything of the above. Then again, I'm just a spokesperson. Do remember, though, that I saw a great, great danger in the alignment of The Moon and Venus.
Oh, and if you're worried, we are sure that the leader of the band will be found well before the tour! Yes, I'm talking about Guru Amskam, of course. He'll also be able to pull Antti back to this burpous reality, just like that.

Demilich will be touring Mexico in March, and USA+Canada in May. All the info we have until today can be found in this update. If you want to get more news when we have it, there are two ways to get it:

A note to everyone asking for extra dates for the tours: Unfortunately this is all we had time for. Antti could tour months, and would love to, but he just can't get other guys to do more than this due to their responsibilities at home and work. So, no extra dates coming. We promise we will do our everything to get us tour the whole Northern America before we put Demilich to sleep.
––– EURO TOUR? OTHER SHOWS? –––
We are currently trying to arrange a two week tour in Europe in late autumn. More about that when things start clearing up. Also, we have some other shows already booked, but we cannot talk about them, yet. You'll hear about it when it's time, so don't worry.
––– NEW MATERIAL READY AND IN THE WORKS –––
Demilich has 2.1 new songs structurally done. We have to come up with lyrics, solos and some little things, but those are basically ready. Next, we will create 1.9 songs more, and then we're ready to record them all. So, you won't be getting a full-length, but it's not going to be an EP, either. Neither overly long songs filling the album length. Something possibly better. We'll tell you more when it's time, hopefully this year!
––– THE NESPITHE SHIRT COMPETITION AND OTHER MERCHANDISE –––
We had the Nespithe shirt competition running many years ago, but nothing happened after that. I already know the winner, and we're currently working on the designs, so please give us a short while more! There will also be a huge amount of new designs and products coming! The plan is to reveal all of this before Mexico, or then quickly after that.

Morean (vocals) further explains: “An ode to the violent volcanic forces that shaped our Earth, inspired by my visit of a remote, little-known volcanic site in Southern Chile. The area had been inhabited for many thousands of years before the first European settlers arrived, and these natives called this site the ‘home of the devils’ in their language (‘pali aike’). The lyrics are a literal description of how I experienced the place - eerily haunted, scattered with sun-bleached bones left by hunting mountain lions, and filled with mirages invoked by awe-inspiring shapes and colors of moss-covered lava formations and lakes that miraculously disappear when you get close to them. The violent and tragic history of settlement of this remote corner of the world gives a morbid twist to the site’s now tranquil and peaceful aura of abandonment.”
