We regret to inform that M'n'M Slasher festival in Nancy, for which Meshuggah was booked to perform on the 14th of May, has been cancelled by the organizers. Refunds are available for ticketholders from point of purchase.

Due to the logistical issues this brings, Lyon on Friday 13th May will also be postponed.

ONE KILLED AND FOUR INJURED AT DEATH METAL SHOW AT SAN BERNADINO, CALIFORNIA

One person was killed, and four were injured in a shooting at a CRAWLING THROUGH TARTARUS show at Marqius Lounge as the bands vocalist was show with two rounds.

CBS NEWS Los Angeles reports JAMES VINCENT DICKSON, 32 was pronounced dead at the scene.

Prayers for my boys in Crawling Through Tartarus after a violent shooting during their set last night in San Bernardino. Zander Dixon was a brother to Jack Berg and me growing up and it’s terrifying to see the video of somebody opening fire. Their vocalist Matt was hit by two rounds and is dealing with surgeries now. Make sure you send lots of love their way. Share their music with your friends, buy some merch, wish them well etc.

After such an experimental expression [with 'Undying Light'], we sat down to write 'Empyrean' completely refreshed and inspired, It was like the musical tension of the last decade had been released, and we were ready to achieve goals the band had originally set out for. 'Empyrean' is truly a return to form because we are doing what comes naturally to us, but with an intensity that we haven’t achieved in the past. We set out to create something that represents the band and its history in its purest form while also pushing our technical abilities further than we have ever gone.

Every Fallujah album has been a reflection of whatever ideas felt the freshest and exciting to us at that particular point in time. We’ve developed our own defined sound over the years, but on this album, our new members helped bring in some new perspectives. We incorporated new elements such as counterpoint and tempo changes but maintained elements integral to the band and even brought back techniques used in older records. At this point, it’s all about elegantly presenting the sound we have cultivated over the last decade.

At the Gates will embark on a special anniversary "Slaughter of the Soul" tour this summer in the US and Canada.

Originally planned for the 25-year anniversary of SOTS in 2020, the covid-19 situation made us postpone this tour until 2022.

Finally, we can present these new dates set for august 2022. At the Gates will play the whole SOTS album from start to finish, and also a mix of other tracks from their 30+ year career.

We have been looking forward to return to the US for several years now, and with a great tour package together with Municipal Waste, Enforced & Thrown Into Exile, it is finally time. See you in the pit!
