IBARAKI: POST VIDEO FOR NEW TRACK "RONIN (FEATURING GERARD WAY and IHSAHN)"


  IBARAKI (featuring MATT HEAFY OF TRIVIUM ) have posted a video for  ""RONIN (FEATURING GERARD WAY and IHSAHN)" , a track from the bands anticipated debut "RASHOMON", due to be unleashed 5/6/2022 via NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS.

Trivium singer and guitarist Matthew kiichichaos Heafy reveals the third single "Rōnin" featuring guest vocals by Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance and Ihsahn -Official- from his long-awaited and much-anticipated IBARAKI project.
The project's debut album Rashomon will be released on May 6th via Nuclear Blast.

"'A rōnin is a masterless warrior," shares Kiichi. "The final two full compositions on Rashōmon see a significant shift musically. The album as a whole — with the exception of the intro and outro — is actually presented in chronological order of earliest written to latter-most. The actual guitar and bass tracks are a time-capsule of sorts in that their parts — on the final album — is actually from the year they were tracked."
He continues, "One can begin to see the shifts as the years went on for the writing of the album. 'Kagutsuchi'/'Ibaraki-doji' being written and tracked in 2010/2011, all the way up to 'Rōnin'/'Susanoo No Mikoto' being written and tracked in 2016/2017."
As for his collaboration with Way, Kiichi shares, "Gerard Way has been a long-time inspiration for me — like Ihsahn and Adam Nergal Darski — I have looked to Gerard as a constant source of motivation to be creative. While Gerard and I may be from different genres than where Ibaraki and black metal stem from — outsiders of sorts — the spirit and intent of our performances is what unites our passion for pushing boundaries."

FOO FIGHTERS: CANCEL ALL 2022 SHOWS and TOUR


 U.S. rock legends FOO FIGHTERS have CANCELLED all of the rest of 2022 tour and shows.

 

 

TAYLOR HAWKINS, drummer for U.S. rock legends FOO FIGHTERS (and metal band DREAM WIDOW) died 3/25/2022 at 50 in Bogota, Columbia on tour with FOO FIGHTERS.. No cause for TAYLOR HAWKINS death has been given. 

 According to BOGOTA, COLUMBIA police,  TAYLOR HAWKINS death may be drug related, pending an autopsy.

Preliminary autopsy reports for TAYLOR HAWKINS, drummer for U.S. rock legends FOO FIGHTERS (and metal band DREAM WIDOW show he had 10 different drugs in his urine at his time of death. Bogata, Columbia coroners found antidepressants, opiates, "benzos" and THC.   

 

TAYLOR HAWKINS also performed drums on pop star ALANIS MORISSETTE'S classic release "JAGGED LITTLE PILL".

LATIN AMERICAN TOUR POSTPONED TO 2023
ENGLISH: Despite being as careful as possible, we are now in the situation where several members of the tour party unfortunately have contracted the covid-virus. We spent time together rehearsing for the tour and that’s how it spread among us. This unfortunately means that we are not allowed to fly next week and therefore cannot start the planned Latin-American Tour. We will have to reschedule the tour to March/April 2023. This is a truly horrible situation and we´re devastated but hope that you understand that this is out of our hands, support our promoter, and stick with your ticket while looking forward to see you in march/april 2023.
PORTUGUESE: Apesar de sermos os mais cuidadosos dentro do possível, estamos agora na situação em que vários membros da turnê, infelizmente testaram positivo para Covid-19. Passamos um tempo juntos ensaiando e assim aconteceu a transmissão entre nós. Infelizmente, por conta disso, não conseguiremos voar na próxima semana e iniciar a nossa mais nova turnê pela América Latina. Teremos que remarcar a turnê para março/abril de 2023. Esta é uma situação realmente horrível e estamos devastados, mas espero que vocês compreendam, apoiem nossos promoters e mantenham seus ingressos até que possamos nos encontrar entre março/abril de 2023.

Hemos estado ensayando juntos para la giras y fue así cómo nos contagiamos. Lamentablemente, esto significa que no podremos tomar el vuelo la semana que viene y comenzar con la gira latinoamericana. Tendremos que reprogramar la gira para marzo/abril del 2023. Das Debut Album des musikalischen Ausnahmeprojekts Vāmācāra wird den Titel "Cosmic Fires: The Enlightenment Reversed" tragen und am 29. April über Black Sunset/MDD erscheinen! Die Band verbindet orientalische Musik mit westlichen Tonleitern, sowie fernöstliche,- mit abendländischer Philosophie. Stilistisch gleicht das Album einer Vereinigung von Black, Doom und Death Metal, die mit Psychedelic und Stoner Rock versetzt werden. Aufgenommen von Ali Orhan im Tonstudio SH in Kiel sowie von Jan Bzinkowski im Hear Studio in Warschau wurde das Ganze schließlich von Jörg Uken im Soundlodge Recording gemixt und gemastert, welcher der Produktion einen passenden und eindrucksvollen Sound verliehen hat. Einen ersten Blick aufs Coverartwork findet ihr anbei,- für einen musikalischen Eindruck wird es noch vor Album VÖ einen entsprechenden Videoclip geben. Stay tuned!

The debut album of the exceptional musical project Vāmācāra will be titled "Cosmic Fires: The Enlightenment Reversed" and will be released on April 29 via Black Sunset/MDD! The band combines oriental music with western scales, as well as far eastern,- with occidental philosophy. Stylistically, the album resembles a union of black, doom and death metal infused with psychedelic and stoner rock. Recorded by Ali Orhan at Tonstudio SH in Kiel and Jan Bzinkowski at Hear Studio in Warsaw, it was mixed and mastered by Jörg Uken at Soundlodge Recordings, who gave the production a fitting and impressive sound.
