Icelandic black metal warriors DYNFARI have posted  "SORGAREFNI SEGI EG þéR", a track from the bands anticipated new release "THE FOUR DOORS OF THE MIND", due to be unleashed 4/14/2017 via AURAL MUSIC and 4/27/2017 via CODE666 RECORDS..

 Dynfari stream "Sorgarefni segi eg þér", the third track from THE FOUR DOORS OF THE MIND album, scheduled for April on code666 , a sublabel of Aural Music.

"The Four Doors of the Mind" is a 48 minute composition about pain. Alternating between post-rock vibes and black metal atmospheres, the album explores fantasy writer Patrick Rothfuss' theory on the mind's abilities to cope with pain, namely sleep, forgetting, madness and death, by weaving it together with over 100 year old lamentations on human existence by early 20th century Icelandic existentialist poet Jóhann Sigurjónsson. The combination of the two writers' thoughts, seemingly far apart in both time and space, is embodied in the union of the drive of black metal with more traditional soundscapes of acoustic guitar, accordion, flute and bouzouki.  "The Four Doors of the Mind" is scheduled for release on April 27th via Code666 Records on digipak CD, LP in two different color edition, limited edition box version and digital release.  Recorded with Stephen Lockhart at Studio Emissary (ZHRINE, Sinmara, Svartidauði, ...) Mixed and mastered by Haukur Hannes at Mastertape Studios (Auðn, Great Grief, ...) Artwork by Metastazis (Alcest, WATAIN, Morbid Angel, BEHEMOTH!, and more)
